Operator Certification Training
Our certification training prepares operators for Arizona and New Mexico licensure in Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, Water Distribution, and Wastewater Collection at all grade levels. New Mexico training is currently offered under contract only with EPCOR.
Courses are available in one and two-day combined-level formats (Grades 1–2 and 3–4). One-day sessions focus on targeted exam review, while two-day sessions cover fundamentals, math, and core operational concepts. All courses are fully aligned with the 2025 Need-to-Know Criteria.
Training runs March through October at the Surprise Gateway Training Center in Surprise, Arizona. Each class includes exam-focused instruction, interactive PowerPoint presentations, a participant study guide, and PDH certificates.
